The
24" x 24" x 1" tiles from EMC come in two versions, SportPlay and Equi-Tile.
SportPlay pavers have small shock absorbing "feet" molded into the base
for increased cushioning. SportPlay pavers are the perfect flooring
surface for play areas and exercise rooms. When produced with the higher
density base, this paver goes by the name or Equi-tile. Equi-tile was
designed for equine applications in barns, stables and other applications
where a resilient yet firm floor surface is desired. Both Equi-Tile
and SportPlay pavers can be glued in place or assembled without adhesive
using the unique connector pin system shown in the photo on the left. |

SofScape
pavers from Reifen Rubber of Manheim, PA, are molded into a unique 9"
hexagonal shape. Each paver covers 1/2 square foot and weighs about
4.5 pounds. Sofscape pavers are used extensively in equine facilities
as well as on patios, walkways and decks. SofScape is extremely durable
and highly slip resistant. These pavers are available in Black, Gray, Green and Red. SofScape pavers can be installed with or without
adhesive depending on the type of subsurface. |

Flexgard

These interlocking pavers are a
simple and attractive. Made in Asia, Flexgard pavers are easy to
install and very durable. This product does not have the strong
rubber odor commonly associated with Asian rubber pavers.
It takes 3.5 pavers to cover one
square foot. The 1.75" version can be installed without using
adhesive. Adhesive is recommended for the one inch product.
Flexgard pavers are sold in
pallet quantities in the 1.75" version. Each pallet contains 774 pavers
which
will cover 221 square feet.
The 1 inch pavers are packaged
in boxes containing 28 pieces, (8 square feet). This thickness is
only offered in Terra Cotta. |

The new
Eco-flex I-Tile Mat is a large interlocking tile that
combines the classic appearance of the I-Tile paver with
the utility and ease of installation associated with the larger
rubber tiles. Each Eco-flex I-Tile Mat covers 7.33 square feet
and contains the equivalent of sixteen standard I-Tile pavers.
The Eco-flex
I-Tile Mat is available in five colors and three thicknesses. To
help complete any installation, interlocking trim pieces are
available for both the interlock and side edges. The standard
Eco-flex I-Tile pavers can also fit perfectly into both the edge
and interlocking portions of this tile.

Eco-flex Multi-Brick Tile is 36" square that is available in three
thicknesses, 1/2", 1"and 1.5". Depending on the thickness selected,
this tile can be used for both resurfacing and in-ground applications.

series of pavers are 2 inch thick bricks that measure 6" x 6' square.

In its
uncolored form recycled rubber granules, nuggets, and flakes are commonly
used as footing in equine applications such as arenas, walkers and training
pens. When used for this application, the rubber particles provide excellent
cushioning and help to reduce dust. This material comes in a variety
of sizes and can be ordered in all black or black & white, in which
some of the polyester fibers from the tire sidewalls are retained.
