Grit-Strip for Visually Impaired

An abrasive mineral coated Grit-Strip is recessed the full length of the tread at impact area.  Helps prevent slipping.  Meets specs. requiring contrasting color to alert Visually Impaired.  Design surface with Grit-Strips off added safety and longer wear.  All treads have color through entire thickness.  All treads have color through entire thickness.  Treads meet Flame Spread Rating of 75 or less using ASTM-E-84 Test. 

Specifications:  Specify any of the Visually Impaired Grit-Strip treads: GS787VI; 250VI; 200VI; 225VI; GS500VI; GS1000VI; GS800VI; GS622VI or GS626VI.

Grit-Strip Inserts 

Grit-Strips are available in Black, Brown, Gray, Beige, Safety Yellow or Safety Red.  Any color may be inserted in any Grit-Strip tread.  All strips are replaceable.
