Kid
Kushion Playground tiles by Environmental Molding Concepts of California,
are 24" squares that are available in 2.5", 3.5" and 3.75" thickness.
These tiles offer superior shock absorption characteristics with certified
drop heights of 6, 8 or 10 feet. Kid Kushion tiles may be glued in place
or installed using special aluminum connector clips. Kid Kushion tiles
are available in Green, Blue, Terra Cotta, Gray or Black as well as
several multi-color versions made using EPDM rubber. Sloped ramp and
corner pieces are also available for ADA approved access compatibility. |

The
24" x 24" x 1" tiles from EMC come in two versions, SportPlay and Equi-Tile.
SportPlay pavers have small shock absorbing "feet" molded into the base
for increased cushioning. SportPlay pavers are the perfect flooring
surface for play areas and exercise rooms. When produced with the higher
density base, this paver goes by the name or Equi-tile. Equi-tile was
designed for equine applications in barns, stables and other applications
where a resilient yet firm floor surface is desired. Both Equi-Tile
and SportPlay pavers can be glued in place or assembled without adhesive
using the unique connector pin system shown in the photo on the left. |

Rubber. These 2' x 2' square tiles are produced from 100% recycled

Unity Surfacing System offers a
range of interlocking and non-interlocking, recycled rubber tiles.
These 22" x 44" tiles come in thicknesses ranging from 1" to as much
as 4.75" and in a variety of colors. The thinner materials are
non-interlocking mats suitable for glue-down applications. The 2.25"
and thicker materials offer a unique double interlocking tab system

EVA stands for Ethylene Vinyl
Acetate. This is a tough, closed cell foam, similar to that used in
flip-flop sandals. These commercial-grade interlocking tiles are
lightweight, waterproof and surprisingly durable. This material
offers cushioning and impact absorption qualities that rival much
thicker and heavier rubber flooring materials.
Flexguard Interlocking EVA
tiles have very precisely cut interlocking tabs that nearly
disappear when the floor is assembled. These mats are textured to
provide excellent slip resistant characteristics. They are also a
terrific sound insulator.
Typical applications for the
EVA mats include indoor play surfaces, gym floors, aerobic exercise
areas and martial arts studios. Other uses include sleeping pads,
trade show flooring and even as portable horse stall mats.

SoftFloors
are the original interlocking EVA tiles. These 24" x 24" x
5/8" closed cell foam tiles come in a variety of bright
colors. As with all EVA products, these tiles are lightweight,

SoftWoods are
made from the same lightweight EVA material but have a
unique faux wood grain surface finish. SoftWoods give you the
appearance of a hardwood floor with the same cushioning found in

interlocking tile made from their popular rolled rubber mat
materials. These 28.5" x 28.5" tiles are die-cut to
produce a tight fitting interlocking tab system. Once
assembled, the interlocking seams all but disappear.
Zip-Lock sports flooring
is 9mm , (about 3/8"), thick. It available in black as well

uncolored form recycled rubber granules, nuggets, and flakes are commonly
used as footing in equine applications such as arenas, walkers and training
pens. When used for this application, the rubber particles provide excellent
cushioning and help to reduce dust. This material comes in a variety

some of the polyester fibers from the tire sidewalls are retained.
