Ultra TUFF is a state of the art, water based, acrylic/urethane copolymer coating that contains an anti-slip, recycled rubber aggregate. This environmentally friendly slip resistant coating adheres to most substrates. It cures in a matter of hours into an attractive, tough, textured coating with excellent abrasion and chemical resistance.  Ultra TUFF is UV resistant, contains no VOCs or odors and is non-flammable. Ultra-TUFF can be applied with a roller, low-pressure spray gun or trowel. In a typical application, the finished thickness is 35-45 mils.
	Unlike epoxies and most other anti-slip coatings, Ultra-TUFF remains flexible, making this material chip and impact resistant. Ultra-TUFF is resilient, yet extremely wear resistant. It can withstand heavy foot traffic and even holds up to moderate vehicle and forklift traffic. With proper surface preparation, Ultra-TUFF adheres to nearly any subsurface. Ultra-TUFF can be installed over wood, concrete, asphalt, fiberglass, metal and most painted surfaces. The finished installation is chemical resistant, salt resistant, and highly durable. The rubber aggregate creates a slip resistant surface with a Coefficient of Friction rating that exceeds the ASTM F-609 standards. Since Ultra-Tuff is water-based, there are no dangerous VOC's to worry about. It dries to the touch in about one hour and is fully cured in five days. Ultra-TUFF is packaged in one or five-gallon containers and is available in 18 UV resistant colors.
Ultra-TUFF has many useful applications. It is commonly used on walkways, stairways and decks. It can even be installed under water on swimming pool surfaces as well as on other aquatic structures such as diving boards, and starting blocks. Ultra-TUFF also creates a terrific anti-slip surface when installed in areas that are chronically wet such as boat decks or loading docks.
