Safeguard Anti-Slip Step Covers

Safeguard Technology is a leading manufacturer of textured, anti-slip step covers and various safety flooring materials.

The company specializes in anti-slip solutions for stair treads, landings, walkways, and ladder rungs. All Safeguard Hi-Traction products are available in durable fiberglass, as well as stainless or galvanized steel.

These products come in a variety of standard and premium colors, with two-tone and photoluminescent glow-in-the-dark versions also available. Six anti-slip textures are offered to accommodate a range of applications, from Barefoot to Xtreme, which is commonly used on offshore oil production platforms.

Safeguard’s Hi-Traction step covers are available in widths up to 72 inches and depths of up to 12 inches, with the nosing extending down the front of the step by one inch. A rounded bullnose version is available for the fiberglass product only.

Introduced in 2016, Safeguard now offers a value-priced version of their step cover products called Valu-Traction. This product is available in four depths (3″, 6″, and 9″) and six standard lengths ranging from 24″ to 120″. The only color options are yellow or black with yellow nosing. Valu-Traction is manufactured in the USA and is designed for lighter-duty applications, featuring a 1-year warranty compared to the 5-year warranty for the standard products.

These materials can be installed in various ways, including adhesive, screws, saddle clamps, or bolts. The metal versions can also be welded in place.

Manufactured in the USA, Safeguard Hi-Traction anti-slip step covers, landing covers, and ladder rung covers are made to order in dimensions that precisely conform to customer specifications. Valu-Traction step covers are available only in standard lengths and colors.
