SofTile Walkway Cover
The Walkway Pad from SofTile is an affordable rubber decking paver designed to create cushioned pathways on rooftop decks. This durable tile provides a safe, simple, and cost-effective surface that protects your roofing investment year after year, regardless of weather conditions. 
SofTile Walkway Pads are an excellent choice for safeguarding waterproof membranes in high-traffic areas, including access doors, roof hatches, HVAC units, and other locations requiring rooftop access for servicing equipment. Each interlocking tile features a built-in pedestal design that elevates the walking surface above the membrane while offering superior multi-directional drainage channels.
The recycled rubber material is slightly porous, allowing standing water to seep through to the membrane below and enabling the surface to dry quickly.
SofTile Walkway Pads measure 24″ x 24″ x 2″ and are made from 100% recycled tire rubber granules held together by a premium polyurethane binder.
Unlike the well-known premium decking pavers and playground tiles that have made SofTile famous, Walkway Pads are available only in black. This product is not recommended for playgrounds or outdoor living spaces.
Walkway Pads feature an interlocking edge profile that ensures precise alignment during installation. For standard rooftop pathway applications, these pads can be installed without adhesive. In extreme environments, a small amount of adhesive can be applied to the interlocking tabs to minimize shifting or wind lift issues.
The resilient nature of the rubber provides flexibility, allowing the tiles to automatically adjust to minor undulations in the subsurface while delivering excellent thermal and acoustic insulation.
SofTile Walkway Pads offer a highly durable and cost-effective solution to protect your roof from damage caused by foot traffic and maintenance activities. Compatible with most new and existing roof installations, SofTile Walkway Pads are resistant to cracking, shifting, and heaving.
