UltraTuff (TuffCoat) Rubberized Anti-Slip Coating

Ultra-TUFF, also known as TuffCoat, is a state-of-the-art, water-based, single-pack acrylic/urethane copolymer that incorporates recycled crumb rubber as an aggregate. This environmentally friendly coating is extremely durable and designed to adhere to most substrates, offering excellent abrasion and chemical resistance.
Ultra-TUFF is a non-skid, non-slip safety coating that improves traction and creates a slip-resistant surface on concrete, wood, metal, or fiberglass. Its anti-slip characteristics derive from small EPDM rubber granules blended into a single-component water-based resin. This product is available in 20 UV-resistant colors.
This rubberized non-skid coating is specifically designed for walking and driving surfaces, proving effective in both wet and dry conditions.
Ultra-TUFF is highly resistant to weather, wear, and impact. Its potential applications are vast, ranging from marine, residential, and aquatic uses to commercial and industrial environments.
Ultra-TUFF contains no VOCs and is odorless, with a typical application thickness of approximately 30-40 mils.
Unlike epoxies, Ultra-TUFF remains flexible after drying, making it resistant to chipping and impacts. This product can withstand wear from foot traffic, as well as forklift and automotive traffic. It is non-flammable, dries to the touch in about one hour, and can be fully cured and ready for use in as little as 24 hours.
Produced in the USA, Ultra-TUFF can be applied in its standard form by rolling or spraying, without the need for expensive equipment or complex tools. For best results, the use of a special Foam Roller or a Hopper Gun is recommended.
Ultra-TUFF is designed to adhere to a wide range of materials, including wood, concrete, metal, fiberglass, plastic, rubber, vinyl, and more. For optimal performance on most substrates, it is recommended to use one of the Ultra-TUFF primers.
