IMC Rubber Timbers
IMC Rubber Timbers are produced in the USA using recycled tire rubber. These rubber borders are both flexible and highly durable.
They come in heights of 4″, 6″, and 8″, and are available in three different colors. Each border curb measures 92 inches in length.
The IMC Rubber Timbers are suitable for various applications, including garden edging and playgrounds. These adaptable rubber timbers can be shaped into almost any configuration.
Rubber timbers and borders are designed to withstand all weather conditions. They can be installed in any climate zone and are effective in all types of weather.
IMC Rubber Timbers are quite dense and heavy. With just a few metal spikes, this material can hold back a substantial amount of weight.
These rubber borders are typically used in playground environments to contain safety surfacing such as rubber mulch, wood chips, or pea gravel. They are also commonly applied in garden edging and raised planter beds.
Each timber includes rebar anchor spikes. Installing this product is quite easy. Start by leveling the area where the rubber borders will be placed. Drill two or three vertical holes in each piece. Position the border where desired and drive the included rebar spikes through the holes into the ground.
It is recommended that the spikes be buried about 1/2 inch into the rubber so they are not visible or felt. For installations on hard surfaces such as concrete or asphalt, a liquid polyurethane adhesive is suggested.
