Best Flex Rubber Gym Flooring, from Mitchell Rubber is made in the USA. It is an interlocking athletic flooring tile which is made from virgin rubber. This product is 24" x 24" x 7/16" in size. The vulcanized rubber surface has an anti-slip "pebble grain" texture.

There are three available component pieces for the Best Flex gym flooring system, center tiles, corner and border pieces. The corners and borders have beveled transition edges to minimize the tripping hazard.

When the border and corners are used, an attractive, "island" configuration can be achieved. For wall to wall installations, the tiles can be easily trimmed to fit, using a utility knife.

The interlocking tabs allow for the assembly of any size floor area, without using adhesive. This makes it easy to reconfigure or replace a damaged tile.

Fitness flooring materials, such as Best Flex, which are made from virgin rubber have several characteristics that set them apart from the lower cost products made from recycled tire rubber. Most notably is the smell, more precisely, the absence of a noticeable rubber odor.

Another difference is the way this gym flooring product is colored. Unlike some recycled rubber products, Best Flex virgin rubber tiles are colored all the way through, not painted with pigment. Virgin rubber tiles can be produced in vibrant colors, something that cannot be achieved with recycled materials.

Best Flex Gym Flooring is available in black as well as nine designer colors. The black material is typically in stock but due to the likelihood of significant color variations from one lot to another, the colors are all produced to order and not normally kept in stock.
