[one-half]

IMC Rubber Timbers are very dense and heavy. With the help of just a couple metal spikes, this material can hold back quite a bit of weight.

These rubber borders are commonly used in playground applications to contain safety surfacing such as rubber mulch, wood chips or pea gravel.

Rebar spikes are included with each timber. Installing this product is easy. First, level the area where the rubber borders are to be installed. Drill two or three vertical holes in each piece. Position the border in the desired location and pound the included rebar spikes through the holes and and into the ground.

It is recommended that the spikes be buried about 1/2 inch into the rubber so they cannot be seen or felt. For installations on hard surfaces such as concrete or asphalt, a liquid polyurethane adhesive is recommended.
