Our step covers and tiles are produced to the highest quality standards. They are not only attractive and durable but also available in a variety of styles and colors. Musson step covers are designed for installation with adhesive, and we offer several adhesive options, including epoxy, contact cement, and environmentally friendly latex.
Like all Musson step covers, the style 620D features a sanded back to ensure proper adhesion, contains no asbestos fibers, and is molded from a top-quality homogeneous rubber compound.
The Musson 620D style features a newly designed, adjustable nose that can conform to angles between 60 and 90 degrees. This design provides excellent traction due to its crisscrossing diamond ridge texture.
The Musson 620D is the original diamond design stair tread, equipped with a 1 1/2″ adjustable nosing that accommodates pan-filled or molded concrete and terrazzo steps. This step cover style is 1/4” thick, tapering to the back edge, and measures 12 1/16” deep. The 620D has a flame spread rating of 75 or less, as determined by the ASTM-E-84 test.
Additionally, the 620D step cover is available in a curved nose version to fit bullnose stair edges. The curved nose version is 12 5/16” deep but shares all other specifications with the adjustable nose version. Standard lengths available include 36”, 42”, 48”, 54”, 60”, and 72″.
The straight nose version is available in all standard colors, while the curved nose version is offered only in marbleized colors.
