Our step covers and tiles are manufactured to the highest quality standards. They are attractive, durable, and available in a variety of styles and colors. Musson step covers are designed for installation using adhesive, with several options available, including epoxy, contact cement, and environmentally friendly latex.
Like all Musson step covers, the Musson Smooth Rubber Step Covers feature a sanded back to ensure proper adhesion, contain no asbestos fibers, and are molded from a top-quality homogeneous rubber compound.
The Musson Smooth Rubber Step Cover series features a smooth, flat surface that is easy to clean. This series includes six versions. The Style 7520S is 1/8″ thick and is available with either a square or curved nose, making it suitable for light-duty applications on lower-traffic stairways.
The heavy-duty Style 7020 is thicker at 3/16″ and is suitable for any application. This style also offers both square and curved nosing options.
Style 220 is similar to the 7520R but adds a 3/4″ abrasive grit strip to the top edge of the nosing. The Style 2520, on the other hand, retains the features of the previous two styles but includes a 2″ abrasive grit strip instead of a 3/4″.
The Style 2020 is another heavy-duty option, comparable to the 7520R, and is available with either a 3/4″ or 2″ grit strip installed.
All of these step covers are made from virgin rubber and come in both Marbleized and Solid Colors. Each cover is 12.5″ deep, with standard lengths ranging from 36″ to 72″.
