Play-Fall Playground Safety Tile
PlayFall playground tiles are produced by a company based in British Columbia, Canada. This premium safety surfacing features a unique design that combines a 1.75″ thick recycled rubber surface tile with a lightweight foam underlayment for added cushioning.
By integrating these rubber tiles with the cushioning underlayment of varying thicknesses, play surfaces can achieve fall-height ratings ranging from four to ten feet.
PlayFall tiles are IPEMA certified and fully comply with all ASTM, CPSC, and ADA playground safety specifications.
The 4′ x 5′ PlayPad foam underlayment mats are available in one- or two-inch thicknesses. They are glued together, edge to edge, to form an impact-absorbing subsurface. The 24″ x 24″ x 1.75″ PlayFall tiles are then installed over the PlayPad underlayment.
The recycled rubber tiles are held together with a combination of plastic connector pins and edge-to-edge adhesive. For large installations, tile-to-underlayment adhesive may be required in some areas.
PlayFall is available in red, green, blue, brown, gray, or black pigmented colors, as well as a variety of premium EPDM color options available by special order. This product can be installed over hard surfaces such as concrete or asphalt, as well as over a compacted granular base covered with landscape fabric.
The recycled rubber PlayFall tiles are molded with sturdy, compressible “feet” extending from the base of each tile. These feet provide excellent cushioning and allow water to drain quickly. This product is suitable for all climate zones and weather conditions. The PlayFall Playground Tiles are complemented by a full selection of transition and ADA access ramps.
PlayFall is typically available with very short lead times and comes with a pro-rated ten-year limited warranty.
