The Walkway Pad from SofTile is a low-cost rubber decking paver, designed to create pathways and access areas on rooftop decks. This durable tile is a safe simple and economical utility surface that protects your roofing investment year after year in all weather conditions.

SofTile Walkway Pads are an ideal option for membrane protection in all high traffic areas including access doors, roof hatches, HVAC units and anywhere access is needed to service rooftop equipment. Each interlocking tile has a built-in pedestal design, which raises the walking surface off of the membrane while providing superior, multi-directional drainage channels. 

The recycled rubber material is also slightly porous, which means that standing water will soak through the rubber to the membrane below, allowing the surface to dry quickly.

SofTile Walkway Pads are 24" x 24" x 2"  black paver tiles. They are made from 100% recycled tire rubber granules, held together by a premium polyurethane binder. Unlike the renowned premium decking pavers and playground tiles which have made SofTile famous, the Walkway Pads are not available in designer colors or engineered to provide a variety of impact absorption characteristics. This product is not recommended for playgrounds or outdoor living spaces. 

Walkway Pads have an interlocking edge profile which precisely aligns the tiles as they are installed. When used for typical rooftop pathway applications, this product can be installed without using adhesive. In extreme environments, a small amount of adhesive can be applied to the interlocking tabs, to minimize shifting or wind lift issues. 

The 64 molded hollow core pedestals, evenly distribute weight. The resilient nature of the rubber provides flexibility that allows these tiles to automatically adjust to minor undulations in subsurface while providing excellent thermal and acoustic insulation.

SofTILE walkway pads provide an extremely durable and economical option to protect your roof from damage due to traffic and maintenance work. Compatible with most new and existing roof installations, SofTILE Walkway Pads are impervious to cracking, shifting and heaving.
