Z-Tile Interlocking Athletic Flooring

Z-Tile, interlocking rubber athletic flooring, is made in the USA from 100% recycled rubber and a specially engineered polymer binder. This binder, combined with tiny rubber granules, creates a durable yet resilient material. A unique manufacturing process significantly reduces the strong rubber odor commonly associated with most Asian imports and many other lower-quality products. This lower odor level is particularly important for indoor installations.

These fitness tiles measure 28.5″ x 28.5″ (5.64 sq. ft). The rubber flooring is available in two thickness options: 8mm (5/16″) and 9.5mm (3/8″). The tiles weigh 9.6 pounds for the 5/16″ version and 10.7 pounds for the 3/8″ thickness.

Color options include black and six 20% EPDM color flec mixes. Custom color mixtures can also be ordered.

These interlocking tiles are cut from U.S.-made rolled rubber mats. Unlike rolled rubber mats, which require adhesive, Z-Tiles do not. The tightly interlocking edges, resembling a zipper, nearly disappear.

Z-Tiles are suitable for a variety of applications. Their low-odor qualities make them ideal for high-impact indoor use. Typical applications include athletic flooring in both home and commercial gyms, as well as flooring for workshops, utility rooms, playrooms, and interior walkways.

This recycled rubber flooring product is easy to maintain. The recommended cleaning procedure involves using a broom, damp sponge mop, or vacuum cleaner. If desired, a mild detergent can be used for sanitizing. This product is covered by the manufacturer’s five-year limited warranty.
