DeckTop Rubber Deck Tiles, by Environmental Molding Concepts, (EMC), are one of our best selling rubber decking products. This product is produced in Southern California. The tiles are produced from 100% California recycled tire rubber making DeckTop and other EMC products eligible for the state-sponsored grants offered to schools and other similar organizations within California.

DeckTop is a 24" x 24" square tile which is 1 3/8" thick. Color options include five standard colors, six multi-colored mixes and more than ten premium color options. Custom premium color blends are available as well.

One of the most popular features associated with this rubber decking product is its ability to be installed without using any adhesive. This makes the installation as well as repairs or reconfigurations very easy. DeckTop rubber deck tiles can be installed over any firm-flat subsurface such as concrete, asphalt or a compacted sand/gravel base.

One of the most popular places for this product to be used is on rooftop decks, installed directly over the fragile, waterproof membrane. For locations where vandalism may be a problem, DeckTop can also be permanently installed using a polyurethane adhesive.

The DeckTop manufacturing process creates a durable surface that is slip resistant in wet or dry conditions. The material is water permeable. It offers excellent drainage and dries out quickly. DeckTop is an all-weather product which works as well in hot, cold, wet or dry conditions in any climate zone. It has a very robust system of drainage grooves molded into the base of each tile making this product very suitable for installation in wet or snowy locations.

Another unique aspect to the DeckTop products is its density. When compared to some other rubber decking materials, DeckTop is significantly firmer and more dense. This design feature was incorporated to reduce the risk of punctures, caused by sharp objects. On rare occasions, some other, softer materials have been known to puncture, when exposed to traffic from people wearing stiletto heals.

All EMC products come with a five year limited warranty. As a practical matter, this product is so durable that warranty claims are very rare.
