Humane Versatile Recycled Rubber Athletic & Fitness Flooring

Humane Manufacturing produces some of the highest quality rubber athletic / fitness flooring tiles and mats available.  Humane produces a variety of products, all made from recycled tire rubber. These products are proudly made in the USALokTuff Features & Benefits

Humane Versatile is a newly redesigned version of the interlocking vulcanized rubber tiles that are commonly used in athletic environments such as home and commercial gyms. Other product applications include Multi-purpose flooring for schools, churches and recreation centers. Other Humane products are popular for use as flooring for barns or stables, as well as protective rooftop matting and for a variety of industrial applications.

Humane Versatile fitness flooring products are available in three thicknesses, 3/8", 1/2" and 3/4". These mats come in both interlocking and straight edged versions. Color options include standard black, and 22% color specks, (green, red, yellow, glacier, (off white), tan, white and blue). Other color options include mixtures of the standard colors with white

All Humane recycled rubber gym mat products are made using the vulcanization process. In this process, recycled tire rubber is ground into tiny pieces and chemically melted. The liquid rubber is poured into molds where the mats are formed using carefully controlled heat and pressure. The result is a solid block of rubber that is firm yet resilient and totally waterproof.

For athletic flooring applications, Humane produces 24" or 48" interlocking tiles as well as straight edged mats that come in 48" x 72" dimensions. The actual dimensions are slightly smaller, due to trimming that occurs during when these mats are "trued" to create perfectly square edges or when the interlocking tabs are created.

The Humane fitness flooring products that are typically used for athletic flooring applications are produced with a micro-diamond surface texture which is firm and slip resistant. Versatile and other humane products which are designed for interior usage, contain a special odor controlling ingredient which masks the rubber smell that is a common characteristic of most imported rubber mats.

Humane uses computerized, water jet technology to precisely cut their mats as needed. This process is used for truing and to produce the interlocking edges. The standard mat size options can accommodate most project dimensions however, for a small additional charge, mats can be cut at the factory to custom dimensions.

Humane has recently released a new line of interlocking rubber tiles known as Shok-Lok. Shok-lok tiles are molded with specially designed air pockets in the base of each tile. These air pockets made the tile softer while providing a noise and vibration barrier. Shok-Lok is perfect for use in upper floor installations as a way to reduce noise and vibration transfer to the spaces below.
