SportPlay, by Environmental Molding Concepts, (EMC), is a multi-purpose product that is equally at home on an exterior deck, as a playground surface or for fitness center flooring.

This product is produced in Southern California. The tiles are produced from 100% California recycled tire rubber making SportPlay and other EMC products eligible for the state-sponsored grants offered to schools and other similar organizations within California.

SportPlay is a 24" x 24" square tile which is 1 inch thick. Color options include nine standard colors and more than ten premium color options. Custom premium color blends are also available.

One of the most popular features associated with this product is its ability to be installed without using any adhesive. This makes the installation as well as repairs or reconfigurations very easy.

SportPlay can be installed over any firm-flat subsurface such as concrete, asphalt or a compacted sand/gravel base. For locations where vandalism may be a problem, SportPlay can also be permanently installed using a polyurethane adhesive.

Just like its slightly thicker cousin DeckTop, this product is commonly used on rooftop decks, installed directly over the fragile, waterproof membrane. Another popular application is in daycare centers where a cushioned safety surface with a minimum fall-height requirement is desired. SportPlay has a certified fall-height rating of two feet. SportPlay also makes a great walkway, installed over a compacted base.

The SportPlay manufacturing process creates a durable surface that is slip resistant in wet or dry conditions. The material is water permeable. It offers excellent drainage and dries out quickly. SportPlay is an all-weather product which works as well in hot, cold, wet or dry conditions in any climate zone. It has a system of drainage grooves molded into the base of each tile making this product very suitable for installation in wet or snowy locations.

All EMC products come with a five year limited warranty. As a practical matter, this rubber flooring product is so durable that warranty claims are very rare.
